Seaweed Kooning Family Dentistry OR 97035There are many ways to add seaweed into your daily diet. Why seaweed? Not only is seaweed beneficial to your overall health and wellness, but it also packs a punch when it comes to the vitamins and nutrients that are required for healthier teeth and gums. You can ensure that your health is taken care of on all fronts when you choose the best products for your diet.

Using Seaweed to Better Your Diet

Stabilize your blood pressure, help your liver function and even provide yourself with anti-bacterial and better digestive health when you add a little bit of seaweed to your diet. One of the biggest ways that people are incorporating this new superfood to their diet is by consuming sushi. This is cooked with the seaweed wrapped around the outside.

You can also toast the seaweed and then salt and season it so that you can eat it like chips. This is always a great way to enjoy a healthy snack that also tastes delicious. Cooking the seaweed and then adding it to salads is another way to get many of the benefits, or sometimes this can also be done raw depending on how it was stored.

You can find many recipes that use seaweed in them, which is a great thing to think about when it comes to adding seaweed to your daily diet on a regular basis.

If you want to learn more about your oral health and what foods can be ideal to add to them, we would be happy to help. We can provide you with more information or set you up with a time to have an exam to check your oral health. It is always good to have an exam done prior to examining in major changes in your diet or oral routines.
